fort2fort charity cycle
Fort2Fort Logo and concept came from the historic defence of Cork Harbour which had Forts at Camden and Carlisle at the mouth of the harbour. The original route was from Trabolgan Holiday Village to Camden Fort Meagher. It is a unique sportive as it requires the Carrigaloe- Glenbrook ferry to complete the route. Ulster Bank has been the main sponsor since 2012. Cork County Council have been an important part of the event from 2011 and a strong financial sponsor since 2015. To date 3,500 cyclists have taken part raising €150,000 for local charities.
